Labradorite By Sister Jessica Blais This beautiful stone can at times look dull, gray to brown, in low light. Once the sun catches it just right it will suddenly flash in an array of colors. I am lucky enough to have a palm stone that holds an entire rainbow within it, pictures will be in the comments. I also have this stone set in various jewelery pieces; a bracelet that flashes blue and green, a golden pendant, rings in shades of pinks and purples. This stone is easily in my top 10 favorites, it always reminds me of the light, even within the darkness. I will be sharing information tonight from my own knowledge and that of Judy Hall from The Crystal Bible and Sandra Kynes with Llwellyn's Complete Book Of Correspondences. This stone is considered to be readily available but some colors are much more common, mostly blues, greens and some yellow or gold. Labradorite is a protective stone, helping provide awareness, clarity, connections, intuition, vitality, strength and transformation. Self-expression, confidence, self-work, growth, balance and wisdom work to raise consciousness levels, to align ourself to be ready for spiritual journeying. Its ability to connect etherally, universally, leads to magic, life, love, motivationand success. We become more open to using and practicing our gifts in this guiding stones presence. It helps us explore psychic gifts and past lives, supports us in discarding what no longer serves us or to shed debris, such as unhelpful baggage dragging us down. (Hall, 169-170 and Kynes, 234) As we weather the storm of exploration and cleaning house so to speak, labradorite sticks around in the rebuilding. It provides a stable support to get us through the bumps of change. It also allows us to see beyond illusions while keeping us calm, level and strong. It allows us to beat the odds and move forward, kind of a super tool in our crystal arsenal! (Hall, 170) I use this stone on a daily basis to keep me positive and focused on what is important and to keep clear of what wishes to interupt my forward motion, to not get tied up in the small, inconsequential things.
